"If winning isn´t everything, why do they keep score?"
The live ticker as a source of information for the latest sports results

What to do if your favorite team is playing, but you cannot be on site because you have to work or live in some other part of the world? Just use a live ticker! It cannot replace being there yourself, but at least you get the latest information only seconds after it had really happened. However, does every live ticker provide the same amount of information and is everything clearly written and understandable so that you can easily follow the event although you have not watched it? In my paper, I want to conduct a survey to examine the features a live ticker must have and which one can be left out to be appealing and perfectly understandable. The method is simple: while some subjects watch the game live, others follow it by using a live ticker - and the discussion afterwards will put together the best live ticker.
